Filtered by exhibition: 1953-1968. The Thaw: Art of Life
Looking at the Soviet art of the 1950s-1960s one might see the progression from the optimism of the 50s to the light heroic melancholy of the first half of the 60s and then to the disenchantment of the late 60s and early 70s. To continue a project of major Moscow museums devoted to the Thaw period the NB Gallery shows the most interesting artworks of this period from its collection. The display includes painted and graphic works, architectural projects, samples of designs, originals of book illustrations.
